Spokane Symphony's The Nutcracker Ballet

See a sneak peek of Spokane’s Symphony’s The Nutcracker Ballet at River Park Square on Saturday, November 30 at 3pm.

This year marks the orchestra’s 41^st performance of the beautiful Tchaikovsky music, and their ninth year of performing with the internationally acclaimed State Street Ballet of Santa Barbara, CA. The professional dancers of The Nutcracker share the stage with more than 75 talented young dancers from Spokane-area dance schools, who audition to be in the ballet, and then practice for weeks, getting ready to play the parts of the party guests, mice, angels, soldiers and bonbons. Resident Conductor Morhiko Nakahara will lead the orchestra.
